DELTA (BE)

At the Delta Residency (Namur-BE), Lau collaborated with the artist Anna Mathot. In this project they experimented the idea landscape and soundscape, with its alterations, its components and inhabitants. Their installation confluence is at the intersection between sound, painting, textile, and photography, in interaction with the water from La Meuse. With its presence in our processes, we wish to question its pollution, memory and the organisms navigating around and through the river. Lau was mainly focusing on documenting the river using analog photography, developing the film and printing using coffee and the river water.
Our interdisciplinary research seeks the possibilities to imagine more inclusive and sustainable creative processes and representations.
